From the closing speech of the General Manager of NCS College, Antonín Svěrák, at the NCS Course for Codifiers:
Honourable Vice-Rector, distinguished Directors, dear students, ladies and gentlemen,
Today marks the conclusion of this year’s NCS College, already its 7th edition. I am delighted that it is you – this wonderful Course for Codifiers – that our management team from the University of Defence, the National Codification Bureau, AURA, and the leadership of NCS College will remember for a long time to come.
In my opening speech at the start of the NCS Course for Managers and Logisticians, which began three weeks ago and was opened by the Vice-Rector, Colonel Hlavizna, I expressed my belief that in your course we would welcome the 200th graduate of NCS College. And it has happened. I will not name a single person, because it applies to all of you. It would not be fair to single out only one. It is all of you! I believe this deserves a round of applause.
Ladies and gentlemen, I sincerely thank all those present for their excellent cooperation – in the spirit of our motto “NCS College together.” I am convinced that besides deepening and broadening your codification knowledge and skills, you will also take home new friendships, not only codification ones, but also memories of Brno’s landmarks and its beautiful surroundings. And of course, unforgettable experiences from our capital city – Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires.
Once again, thank you all, and I look forward to NCS College 2027.
