Courses

The courses are organised and conducted using the most widely used codification tool, which is employed in the majority of countries participating in the NATO Codification System.

NCS Course for Managers & Logisticians

25–29 August 2025

The course is designed for logisticians and NCB managers who should understand NSN data and the purpose of codification. It covers the establishment and operation of NCBs, ensuring participants grasp the principles of the NATO Codification System.

Participation fee (for 1 person)

Government organisation – 790 EUR
Non-government organisation – 1670 EUR

The first student enrolled from an organisation pays the full price. Each additional student pays 10% off the full price.

A maximum of four people from one organisation can participate. Higher number of students must be discussed individually with the NCS College management by 15 July 2025.

The participation fee includes the provision of ICT equipment for training, services of instructors, online and printed study materials (available even after the course), a visit to the military logistics base, and an official certificate of course completion issued by the Rector-Commandant of the University of Defence.

It also covers refreshments during classes and full board participation in social and sporting events during the course.

The participation fee does not include transport to the College venue, public transport, accommodation, or meals.

NCS Course for Codifiers

1–12 September 2025

The course is designed for codifiers who need detailed knowledge of the NATO Codification System, including international data exchange (NDER). Participants will learn how to accurately create new NSNs on a real codification SW, understand the latest trends, and grasp the significance of codification in logistics. The course aims to enhance their expertise in maintaining high-quality codification standards.

Non-government organisation – 2970 EUR
